December’s PlayStation Plus games have been confirmed by Sony
Including Godfall Challenger Edition, Mortal Shell and Lego DC Super-Villains
December 2021’s PlayStation Plus games have been confirmed by Sony.
As previously leaked, this month’s PlayStation Plus titles will be Godfall Challenger Edition (PS5/PS4), Mortal Shell (PS4) and Lego DC Super-Villains (PS4).
The games were listed briefly on the PlayStation Spain and Germany Twitter accounts before being removed, suggesting the announcement was made too early. A promotional video for the official reveal has also leaked.
UPDATE: Sony has officially announced December’s PlayStation Plus games on the PS Blog, confirming the earlier leaks.

Next month’s PlayStation Plus games will be available from December 7, and will be available to claim until January 3, 2022.
The three bonus PlayStation VR games made available for PS Plus members last month will remain available this month too.
“[Godfall] Challenger Edition focuses on three unique modes: Lightbringer, Dreamstones, and the Ascended Tower of Trials,” Sony said. “All three are endgame-level content, but you’ll be immediately equipped with a spread of deadly weapons and skill points, letting you team up with up to two other players in co-op.
“Perfect your build and smash your enemies. Challenger Edition’s endgame co-op is compatible with all upgraded editions of Godfall & supports cross-gen play. Godfall: Challenger Edition players can upgrade at any time to the Deluxe Edition gaining access to both Godfall and Fire & Darkness campaigns.”
December’s PlayStation Plus games leaked last week via the same user who also revealed the PlayStation Plus line-ups for September, October and November, plus December’s Xbox Live Games with Gold titles, ahead of schedule.

Last month’s PlayStation Plus games were Knockout City (PS5 and PS4), First Class Trouble (PS5 and PS4), and Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning (PS4).
These were joined by three PS VR titles, to coincide with the platform’s fifth birthday. These were The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Standard Edition, The Persistence and Until You Fall.
Knockout City, First Class Trouble and Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning will be available to add to your game library until December 6.
Meanwhile, The Persistence, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners and Until You Fall will still be available until January 3.
The number of PlayStation Plus subscribers totalled 47.2 million as of September 2021, according to Sony.
Last month Sony’s gaming business reported another record quarter in terms of revenue, as the PlayStation business continued its run as the corporation’s most fruitful division.
During the three-month period ending in September, Sony reported that it sold some 3.3 million PS5 consoles, bringing the total number sold to 13.4 million.
