Jurassic World Evolution 2 will be coming to Xbox Game Pass later today, it’s been confirmed.
The surprise announcement was made ahead of Xbox’s usual round-up of games coming to Game Pass in the next fortnight.
The news was announced in a tweet posted on the official Xbox Game Pass Twitter account on Monday.
UPDATE: The next wave of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass for console, PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming also includes Skate, Farming Simulator 22 and Sniper Elite 5.
ORIGINAL STORY CONTINUES: The tweet reads: “Jurassic World Evolution 2 – aka the world’s most dangerous petting zoo – is coming to town tomorrow. Which dino you running to first?”
Jurassic World Evolution 2 - trailer
The original Jurassic World Evolution is already on Game Pass, and was previously given away as a free Games With Gold title in November 2019.
The sequel, which was released on November 9 last year, is once again a simulator which lets players create their own dinosaur theme park.
Players need to build enclosures for each species and make sure their hunger and comfort needs are met, while trying to keep workers happy to avoid them sabotaging the park and letting the dinosaurs escape.
Evolution 2 also includes a new narrative campaign voiced by cast members from across the Jurassic World film franchise, including Dr Ian Malcolm (voiced by Jeff Goldblum) and Claire Dearing (voiced by Bryce Dallas Howard).
Earlier this month, Xbox announced the titles headed to Game Pass for the start of May.
Recent additions have included Loot River, Trek of Yomi, Citizen Sleeper, Danganronpa 2, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, This War of Mine: Final Cut and NHL 22.
A number of titles have also recently been removed from the service, including Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Definitive Edition, The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan and Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair.
